This transitional residence strikes a careful balance between contemporary form and timeless character. Defined by its crisp gabled rooflines and vertical board-and-batten siding, the home embodies a clean, minimal aesthetic while remaining rooted in tradition. The façade is animated by expansive floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing the exterior architecture to dissolve seamlessly into the natural surroundings and drawing abundant daylight deep into the interior.
Stone elements ground the design, lending texture and permanence to the otherwise light and airy structure. The interplay of white vertical cladding against the dark standing-seam metal roof creates a striking contrast, reinforcing the home’s modern farmhouse sensibility. At the entry, a sheltered canopy supported by stone columns frames a dramatic glass door, establishing both a sense of welcome and a bold architectural statement.
Every elevation of the home is thoughtfully articulated to highlight its symmetry and rhythm. Window groupings are carefully placed to align with interior functions, ensuring a strong connection between inside and out. On the upper level, recessed window bays and cantilevered forms add depth and visual interest, while the garage wing is subtly integrated with matching materials for a cohesive composition.
The result is a home that feels both contemporary and enduring—an elegant composition of light, material, and form that sits harmoniously within its landscape.
