The massing of this transitional custom home design in Etobicoke captures the formality and grandeur of a traditional French Château, reinterpreted with a modern architectural twist. Simplified detailing, clean lines, corner windows, and aluminum-clad flat dormers give the home a fresh and approachable expression while preserving its classic elegance. As a custom home designer focused on thoughtful architectural design, we integrated planters to bring lush greenery close to the footprint, while expansive glazing and a dramatic open-air living space along the rear façade establish a strong indoor–outdoor relationship.

Inside, the home showcases several standout architectural design features, including a striking circular staircase that anchors the library. On the upper level, the library includes a built-in bookcase with a cleverly concealed passageway leading to the office. Additional highlights of this custom home include a double-volume family room, loft spaces in both the primary dressing room and secondary bedrooms, and three levels of outdoor living, all designed to enhance comfort, function, and connection throughout the home.
