A transitional Tudor design. This home pays homage to the core characteristics of Tudor architecture: decorative half-timbering, an embellished front entry and a beautiful mix of materials (stone, stucco, brick and wood). We call it transitional because of the crisp, contemporary approach applied to both the exterior and interior finishing.
Our clients had a very clear vision of their dream home, simply described as "cottage in the city". They envisioned timber beams and exposed brick balanced by formal light fixtures and an open stringer staircase. They saw industrial features blending with traditional furnishing; textured stone wall treatments offsetting formal wall paneling. They wanted a formal, thoughtful living space that was still cozy and inviting.
We were thrilled to play an active role in bringing their vision to life.
